I am a patient of ankylosing spondilysis (diagnosed about 8 years ago). My movement at neck and hip is restricted by about 50%. Is there a surgical treatment available to get my movement back? I am a 38 year old male. My height is 5 feet 10 inches and I weigh 80 kg.
If the redistricted movement of hip and neck is due to Ankylosing spondylosis, and it is the only cause, then it can be managed medically but it may not give satisfactory result.
It is the genetically constitutes disease which may have environment factor. Sometime, it may go away dramatically, you are just 38 years old and chances of natural remission are there you can wait for that.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
