Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 3 year old daughter has been complaining of arm pain as soon as she tried to get out of bed..seems like a sprain in her arm. She s been refusing to move her arm and has been crying in pain even when I try to lift her. What can I do to relieve the pain?
Hi. Ask your daughter, did she have any recent history of fall while playing ect. If you feel that she is having sprain in arm, do the following to relive the pain. 1. Rest 2. Ice (relives pain and swelling) 3.crepe bandage 4.elevation of limb with support. Give her a low dose of pain killers or paracetamol.
Please go for a x-ray investigation to rule out any hair line fractures.
