Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have left bundle branch block, but after visiting the cardiologist, he says the structure and function of my heart is fine. I notice that I am coughing again and wonder if this is because I am creating ANOTHER electrical path? I am 65, 5'2", 130 lbs and in otherwise good health.
Hi Left bundle branch block (LBBB) is a cardiac conduction abnormality seen on the electrocardiogramn this condition, activation of the left ventricle of the heart is delayed, which causes the left ventricle to contract later than the right ventricle. It has nothing to do with accessory pathway adv 2D echo should be done if left ventricle ejection fraction is more then 50% nothing is to be done . You can take a low dose betablocker after consulting your cardiologist.
