Suggest Treatment For Chest Pain And Indigestion

I have been taking ibuprophen for a pain in my left leg. My doctors appointment is not until Oct. 18. I can hardly walk with pain in my leg and butt. I have been having a pain in my chest all day kinda like indegestion. My chest is sore when I press on it. I have been on the ibuprophen several weeks, waiting for blood work and doctor appointments. I have been told that it is siatica also that it could be lupus, arthritise, auto imune fyomalgia. What is it? some spelling not to good. thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptom of pain in the leg seems to be related to sciatica. The chest pain can be related to acid reflux, probably because of the use of Ibuprofen.

I suggest you to use Acetaminophen for the pain and antacids to reduce chest pain and indigestion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
