MY AGE IS 45 YEARS. I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH CHRONIC PANCREATITIS.IS IT CURABLE?IS ANY OPERATION POSSIBLE FOR THIS TO RELIEVE THE ABDOMINAL PAIN.I HAVE DIABETES AND TAKING INSULIN TWICE A DAY-MORNING=18 AND EVENING=12. THANKING YOU IN ANTICIPATION.

For surgical managment for pain you have to get MRI (MRCP) of abdomen to see for the anatomy of pancreas and its duct. And depending upon the morphology the type of surgery can be planned
