My husband has had shingles for going on six weeks and somedays are good and some not so good. lately he has been waking up at night with cold shivers and then hot sweats. what can be done to make it better? also, one day he feels pretty good..he will go out and do things in the yard and seems to get worse. he went to a doctor within 2 weeks of outbreak and was put on 11 days of anti viral med.
