Suggest Treatment For Dextrocardia

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have been diagnosed with Dextrocardia w/ situs inversus but I also have multiple spleens, and a malformation of the heart that the doctor at the hospital called a mutation because my heart is upside down. Is there any treatment or anything that can be done to correct this problem? Does it cause other health problems?

Hello

I can understand your concern for your health but i would like to tell you that DEXTROCARDIA is not a disease its a condition in which heart is placed in the right side of the chest cavity instead of left which is commonly assosiated with change in position of other organs.

In such individuals if there is no other problem or symptoms then NO TREATMENT is required as they live a normal and healthy life just like any other individual.

Kind Regards
