Hello,
You are suffering from nausea and dizziness. Your MRI and CAT scan report is clear. Dizziness and nausea commonly occurs due to
dehydration,
hypotension (low blood pressure),
hypoglycemia,
food allergy, certain medications, not getting enough sleep, especially over a long period of time, can also lead to dizziness and nausea. Medical conditions like vertigo and migraine can trigger dizziness and nausea.
You are suggested to make sure your vitals are normal like blood pressure, blood sugar level, your electrolyte level. Take adequate amount of water and fluids, take food in time and do not skip meals. Be cautious of what medicines you have been taking. Get clinically re-examined by an ENT. Get
posturography, eye and head movement test done, get audiometry test done to confirm if partial or complete perforation of the ear drum.
Taking Vertin-16, twice daily for 5 days will relieve you from dizziness. Stay at rest, do not drive and do not do any heavy work. Your treatment will depend on the pathology detected. If you are suffering from Meniere's disease, you will be prescribed water pills. Take low salt diet if you have
high blood pressure.
Psychotherapy, balance therapy, head position maneuvers under a Physical therapist is helpful. Surgery is recommended only if required. Stay away from addictions if any.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
