I have been diagnosed with ductectasia, but m breast is looking worse, the dimple has gone bigger, my niple has gone an oval shape, and my breast has gone smaller. i have had a scan which showed a dark patch inside, they want to see me in 3 months time. but my other breast seems to be getting bigger, and i feel very uncomfortatable. even when i try to go sleep. There is nothing seeping from m nipple of no dry skin, like ductectasia has. Could it be something else?
Duct ectasia, is a benign (non-cancerous) breast condition that occurs when a milk duct in the breast widens and its walls thicken. This can cause duct blockage and fluid accumulation. It is generally treated with antibiotics and pain killers. In case of abscess, surgical removal of affected duct may be required.
