Suggest Treatment For Ear Infection And Throat Irritation In Baby

I have an 11 month old baby boy. Weight: 12 KG. He is suffering from an ear infection in his right ear, throat irritation and a rash on his abdomen since yesterday. No fever or lethargy. Playful and eating normally. The doctor put him on antibiotics and antihistamine and said the symptoms are related. Can you explain the relation? I am not convinced as I have 6 children, including 2 with hypogammaglobulinemia/low WBC and neutropenia on monthly IVIG treatments and I have yet to hear of this relation.

Sometimes viral pharygitis associated with rash on the body. Other conditions are like streptococcus sore throat may associated with rash on cheek.

So follow your doctor advice. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
