Suggest Treatment For Extreme Breast Pain With Rash After Mastectomy

Hello, I had left breast mastectomy in April 2013, then reconstruction with fat transplantation in October on both breast. Three weeks ago I was working in my yard and it feels like I ruptured everything inside my left/mastectomy breast. I have EXTREME pain and bruising coming from the inside, with a red rash on top of the skin. My plastic surgeon just tells me to take a Tylenol. I am on the chemo pill and have to watch what I am prescribed, and get blood test done quarterly to check my liver and kidney functions. I feel lost and this pain is unbearable. I cannot use my left side of my body without crying uncontrollably. What can I do?

Hello,

This is very common complications after mastectomy, you should have corticosteroid and antibiotic. Take pain killers to relieve pain and do physiotherapy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
