Suggest Treatment For Fever,stomach Pain And Mucous In Stool
my five yr old daughter has severe stomach pains, high fever 102, mucous in her stool. took her to ER and they took stool sample says it takes 3-5 days to come back I am at my wits end with her crying in pain so we are going back to the ER tonight. Any help would be appreciated. I have diverticulitis myself.

It looks like stomach infection.
If i would be the treating physician , I would have given 5 day course of antibiotic like ofloxacin+metronidazole or cefixime, along with probiotics, ors, and paracetamol for fever.
