Suggest Treatment For Few Fibrohazed Infiltrates In Right Upper Lung

hello, i just had my x-ray both chest and apico last week and it says that i have presence of few fibrohazed infiltrates in right upper lung, what does it mean? i have the same diagnosed last year and undergo the 6 mos. treatment for ptb, does it mean that i still have an active ptb or just a scar?need answers desperately please thanks

I can understand your concern.
In my opinion, your current chest x ray is suggestive of scarred lesion from previous tb infection.
Any lung insult whether TB or pneumonia heal with treatment.
Healing occurs in following ways.
1. Fibrosis (most common).
2. Calcification
3. Rarely Complete resolution.
So your current chest x ray is showing, fibrotic lesions and these are nothing but old, healed, inactive, scar lesions.
So no need to take anti tubercular drugs again because you are not having having active tb.
