Suggest Treatment For Frontal Headache And Sensitivity To Light In A Child
My 12 year old son has a very sudden onset of a very painful headache to his frontal region. He cannot stand lights or noise. No nausea or vomitting. The pain is on BOTH sides. This first happened two mornings ago, and went away with lots of sleep and a couple of ibuprofen, but it is back again last night and is still present this morning. He is screaming with pain.
Thanks for the query. From your description of the symptoms first thing i would like to rule out is Migraine and second one is cluster headache.
In migraine sensitivity to light and sound is there but the headache is usually one sided.
I would recommend you to see optimetrist, try some sunglasses, medication like flunarazine+paracetamol+domperidone combination after consulting with your doctor. Hope i helped you.
