Suggest Treatment For Hand Numbness While Suffering From Peripheral Neuroptahy

Hi,
My name is Tanya. Wed. night I began to experience numbness in my right hand. During the night I had pain that ran from my elbow to my hand and in the center of my back, slightly to the left of my right shoulder blade. I lost feeling in the fingers of my right hand and had a sharp pain in the center of my hand. The pain would lessen when I walked around but would come back and wake me up.

I went to the emergency room in the morning. I was diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy. At this point I don't have feeling in my middle finger and pointer. I can now make a fist (which was impossible yesterday) I have an appointment with my PCP on Tues.

I am a diabetic. Is there anything that can be done to reverse this condition or help me live with it?
