Suggest Treatment For High Fever And Swollen/painful Joints While Having Diabetes

I had a bout of very high fever for 5 days , temperature soared as high as 104. Presently I do not have fever but my joints are swollen & are very painful. I am unable to lift even a bottle of water. I am very weak & pulse beat is fast. I am also a diabetic. Please advice how can I get relief from this.

Hello,
the information about your joints is not complete. Which joints are swollen? Are they warmer than the adjacent skin? Can you move those joints? Do you have a history of arthritis of any kind (rheumatoid arthritis, lupus etc) ?
Weakness, fever and high pulse rate may indicate sepsis. I would need a lot more information to diagnose that but this is a possibility - it would be serious if you had sepsis. If a SINGLE joint is swollen and painful then you need urgent medical attention.
Relief can be found in paracetamol unless there is any contraindication.
But the point is that we should know what causes your symptoms. If you'd like you can ask again providing more information about your symptoms, previous medical history etc including the answers to the questions I mentioned above.
I hope you get better soon!
Kind Regards!
