my sugar at 4:00 was 304 I took a shot of humalog 15 units according to my sliding chart my doctor wrote for me at 5:00 I took my sugar level and it tested at 325 I have been under a doctors care weekly and with 5 shots of insulin and 4 metformin 4 glybriride a day why cant my sugar get under control what do I do when it gets high like this and I take a shot and it goes higher what is happening to me
Hello, There is no reason why your diabetes can not be controlled. To control diabetes,one has to take appropriate anti diabetic medications along with diet Contol and regular aerobic exercises for 40-45 minutes a day. You need to adjust your insulin doses and add on drugs belonging to different groups like GLIPTINS and alpha glucosidase inhibitors. The best way is to consult a diabetologist and get proper treatment.
