hello I was bitten by a fire ant last saturday on my left small toe. I developed a bump and swelling that became increasingly worse over the next two days. The swelling was going up my ankle. I went to the doctor I was prescribed prednisone for five days. the swelling is gone but the foot continues to have a burning sensation and is very itchy at times. How long will this last.
