Suggest Treatment For Itching Due To An Allergic Reaction

I'm having what appears to be an allergic reaction to Dermabond used to close up an incision. Until I am able to make it to the doctors office in the morning, what can I do to reduce the itching that is keeping me from doing anything, including sleep?

Hello,

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:

1. For control of itching, I would suggest you an antihistamine like cetirizine in morning and hydroxyzine in evening.

2. Please do not scratch the itchy areas as scratching would increase itching.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish you the best of the health ahead.

Thank you & Regards.
