Suggest Treatment For Jock Itch

Normally I get jock itch during the summer (which would be expected when working out and in very hot enviroments). Well, I got a staph infection in my knee (at the time I had my jock itch under control -- it was severe at one point about a year ago). I was prescribed antibiotics for the staff and it subsided in about a week. Right after, I got jock itch back (bad) and then I have a number of dime sized welps on the back of my scalp. The welps itch really bad, then ooze, then scab. Before this happens I get tingling.

Are these all related in some way? Did my jock itch not respond to numerous treatments of OTC powder spray, cream, etc. The ONLY thing that has ever worked for jock itch is ciclopirox cream combined with anti-inflammatories. I have a doc appointment in 3 WEEKS because no one can see me before. What should I do before hand. The itching is out of control and is started to get oozed and more irratated from scratching while I am sleeping.
