Suggest Treatment For Lumps Appearing On The Breast
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... hi i went to docs week ago as mu breast was tender a felt a coutple. of lumps. these lumps are movable. doc said she wasnt that worried but would refer me just to make sure. she said most other docs wouldnt even have refered me. ive got no discharge or puckering of skin or inverted nipples. im really scared thar i have breast cancer. can u give me some advice. thsnjs

1.Next time please give me your age, if you have any kids and last kids age.
2.Because some lumps post pregnancy time they are normal, and they resolve.
3.But if you don not belong to that category then the protocol is - first to examine the breast, then send for a ultrasound breast ( which will detect weather its mass, cyst , ductal dilatation)
4.Depending on the ultrasound characterisation, an FNAC would be necessary ( fine needle aspiration cytology ) to know what kind of cells it contain.
5.Depending on the findings treatment depends upon.
6.If your age over 40 plus an mammogram (x-ray breast)might also needed.
7. you have already referred so get the needful investigations done.
