Suggest Treatment For Nasal Discharge, dry Mouth And Snoring
I frequently have dried drainage in my nose and at night it limits my nasal breathing, waking with dry mouth and my wife states that my snoring has increased. I have tried breath right strips and they have some effect but not always. Should I see an ENT?
I have gone through your query and can understand..
As per your complain dry mouth and snoring seems to be due to mouth breathing as there seems congestion in nose..snoring.. Due to restriction in nasal breathing there is spontaneous mouth breathing leading to dryness in mouth and Congestion in nose seems to be due to sinus infection or sinusitis.. I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and invstigations like Nasl Endoscopy or MRI of sinuses can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly.. As of now you can do steam inhalations, saline nasal sprays, decongestants like Phenylephrine for relief from congestion.. Stay away from chilled foods..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
