Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Bleeding After Stopping The Pill

I have been feeling nauseas for a little over a week. Two or three days ago, I noticed that (though I was not on my period) I was having bleeding. I think the bleeding might have something to do with the fact that I quit taking the pill, however I was feeling nauseous a couple days before I stopped the pill.

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I understood that you are taking birth control pills if it is so then you don't need to worry about it because once birth control pills are stopped it may give rise to the symptoms like lightheadedness, vertigo, nausea and bleeding P/V which is known as the withdrawal symptoms of the medicine. Still, I suggest you do a USG pelvis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
