Suggest Treatment For Open Raw Areas On Face After Acne Treatment
my daughter had some sort of facial treatment done for acne. not sure what was used. she has raw red blotching and some open raw areas. all cleaned now and is 24 hours old looks to be know worse. what should we be doing to keep it clean and help healing.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your daughter have open raw areas on face after acne treatment. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you to wash your face with cold water and face wash containing salicylic acid (not fash foaming face wash), which is very effective for acne. Exfoliate your skin once a week to remove dead skin. Protect your face from sun exposure as it can trigger the acne formation. You should avoid hot, oily and sharp food substances. Apply azelaic acid containing cream as this is safe for long term use because it is natural extract of cereals. If condition doesn't start getting better in month then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotic Tetracycline or drug Isotrentoin which is also very effective .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
