Suggest Treatment For Pain In Left Side Of After Surgery For Cyst

I m terrified dr. Not giving much choice but to have total hysterectomy...I have been having pain in my left side since my first surgery,removal of cyst in my right side. I have painful intercourse, worse part is when I have a orgasm! It shoot pain down my inner left leg plus it throbbing inside me curls me in a ball.. This has been hurting for years 10 yrs

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
10 years of pain - There has to be a reason which is more of a neurological than organic one.
I would suggests to for for an MRI of the whole spine and the pelvic region. We may find the original cause .
If all the tests are negative/ Gynecologist's examination is normal , i would also suggest to get a consultation with a Psychiatrist.

Counselling and medical management may help you.
Do not avoid this.
