Suggest Treatment For Pain In Mouth After Tonsillectomy

My son is 5 years old. Just had a tonsillectomy and adenoids as well. Today is his fifth day after surgery. He wakes up with pain and crying. Still not wanting to eat. Today I check with a light inside his mouth and I see white spots or marks inside his cheeks. He says his mouth hurts.

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. By what you quote he seems to be having aphthous ulcers which could be stress related in the oral cavity - the whitish spots. You can use Zytee gel as application over them for soothing. But is suggest you also meet your ENT surgeon who has done the surgery for the same. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
