Suggest Treatment For Polymyalgia Pain

i have a see rate of 37. i wa diagnosed 3 yrs. ago with polymyalgia and off prednisone for several months since my last esr was 25. does this mean i have to go back on the prednisone if my ear is slightly elevated. i am experiencing a lot of pain and am not sure if it is the poly or something else.
