Suggest Treatment For Rapid Heart Rate And Headache
My mother is having an array of symptoms today. Earlier she had a high heart rate, headache, and soreness (which might have been from high amounts of physical work today painting and moving furniture) Now she is nauseous, and vomiting, with a low body temperature of 93.2 (axillary). Her heart rate is now 82 bpm
For this reason, I recommend bringing her to the ER for a physical exam and some tests:
- a resting ECG
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR
- blood electrolytes
- kidney and liver function tests.
A brain CT scan may be needed in case of abnormal physical exam.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
