Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Abdominal Abscess After Undergoing Ileostomy
hi,I'm 20 years old,i've had chrons for 5 years now and in the past year it got worse.I had a small bowel reduction, illeostomy back in december of 2010.I've had adscess's the grow inside my stomach and near my liver, ive had them drained 3times and placed on antibiotics but just for them to come back and cause more problems.Looking for some advice on what to do,my doctors say they should cause me any problems.
Hi, Crohn's disease is known to cause septic complications. A course of antibiotics is the only treatment. If the septic process is severe then usg guided drainage may be required. That is the only treatment for this morbid condition. Regards
