Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would explain that your symptoms could be related to chronic degeneration of the spinal vertebral column in this region.

Coming to this point, I would recommend physiotherapy and taking a muscle relaxant (Flexeril) to help relieve the muscle spasm and thus the pain. A cervical spine MRI is necessary.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
