Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain In Knee After An Injury
Hi, I have had an injury for just over 8 months now but stubbornly refused to seek help when I first sustained it. I am to afraid to see a doctor due to severe Social Anxiety and Agoraphobia. I had sustained the injury one day after taking my dog for a walk for about 20 minutes and started to feel pain. I unwisely powered through it for the last 30 seconds of the walk instead of resting and I later developed severe pain in the lower left side of my left knee. I am unable to walk around without pain and it takes a few minutes for the pain to subside when i rest it. The injury has improved considerably since the first month but I m at my breaking point and am far to afraid to go seek treatment. Any insight will be a huge weight off my shoulders until I manage to work up some courage to visit a hospital. Thank you.
U have'nt described whether u having any swelling over knee and your age....any muscle injury will stay for 1 or 2weeks...which can be treated by pain killers....you need to get an x-ray Lt knee to rule out any patellar tendonitis,patello-femoral pain syndrome,....
