Suggest Treatment For Shin Injury
I was playing softball and took a hard hit right off of my left shin below the knee. It instantly swelled up with a huge lump. There is still a little swelling on day 2. Just wanted to make sure that there is nothing to worry about. There is some pain when i walk down the stairs, but im not sure if it is where i got hit or from the shin splints that i have. I would appreciate any advice that you could give me.

It could be a minor contusion. As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.
You can also apply icepacks for faster recovery. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
