Hello doctor. My mother is 58 years old. She slept consistently on her right shoulder in a confined space for about a month or so in the last January. Two months later she developed pain in her right shoulder and right arm (upto elbow). We have consulted a physician and an orhtopadecian. She was recommended to a physio-therapist and got some treatment for about ten days or so. By the pain is persisting and increasing. She's having sleepless nights because of this. She has no history of diabetes - although she has knee pains (we were told that the cartilage was worn out). Can you please recommend a good orthopaedic who could probably get a scan done and diagnose something. Her blood was tested and an x-ray of the shoulder was also taken. But nothing could be diagnosed. Please help. Thank you.
