I recently began ill with an extreme sinus infection and virus. My husband and I both had similar symptons for about 3 weeks before seeking medical assistance. On a recent follow up the dr asked to get a CT Scan of the check with contrast and without. The scan showed a possible mass in the right upper lobe abutting the mediastinum(without contrast). The scan with contrast showed a mass with extensive lymphadenopathy and nodal mass in right paratrachel region corresponding to the previous test. In 2006 my previous doctor noted a suspesious node (mass) in my right lung. I have been taking antibiodics for about 5 weeks (zpac) and a stronger version. This past weekend the coughing has started to go away and I feel like I am getting better. I am assuming that they believe that I may have a malignant tumor in my right lung. My left lung is clear.

I do want to emphasize that I was coughing up phelm and sick for more than a few weeks, I started to feel better and my husband got sick and I started up again but not as bad. I have an appt with a plumiary doctor tomorrow afternoon-I am very scared
