I am 57 year old female who stopped smoking 7 years ago. I have been diagnosed 8 months ago with moderate to severe sleep apnea and copd/emphysema. I am on 3 inhalers and a new pill daliresp. I am fairly active and every time I try to exercise my legs burn and feel very heavy, sometimes my feet go numb. I had test on my legs with rest and with climbing 6 floors but everything turned out perfectly normal with great pulses but my o2 levels drop to 82.
For sleep apnea: undergo manual cpap titration and use cpap at pressure prescribed.
For COPD: undergo spirometry and use formetrol+budesonide+tiotropium initially. depending on symptoms and follow up spirometry drugs can be added/decucted
for leg burns: get a vit B12 and vit D test done no harm in taking supplementation's of both.
