hi, my name is jonah... i have type 1 diabetes diagnosed when i was 15 months old...anyways its just a normal night when i had to change my pump and my blood sugar just kept getting higher, and higher...i kept putting in insulin but it wouldnt do anything, its been about an hour ago when it gave me about 15 to 20 units and still hasnt done anything and im getting worried, the novolog insulin expiration date is in 2013 and ni checked the pump and insulin comes out and im getting seriously worried
dear Jonah.... Did you say your insulin expires in 2013? well if i have read you correct you just need to change the insulin and you will be fine. if not check the insulin pump tubing for any blockage and also the site of insertion on the body.. Get well soon...
