Suggest Treatment For Urine Urgency

dear doctor, about 2 years ago, i had unprotected sex. I was later diagnose to have pseudomana/acinobacter.Various antibiotics were taken as recommended without cure.Several other test taken later gave conflicting results like growth of staphillococus aereus, presence of, Stephiloccocus and at times no growth after culture. I now experience severe pains in my penis and lower abdomen and increased urge to urinate at nights.Recently a comprehensive test of urine, sperm and blood was carried out and the results showed negative. This means no presence of bacteria or infections. However the pain is still there in my penis even without urinating, pains in my lower abdomen and rumblings in my stomach expecially when the bladder is full and urinary urgency. What is responsible for all these pains and how do i get cured?

Hi,

Urgent urination describes an overwhelming need to get to a restroom immediately. It may be accompanied by pain or discomfort in the bladder or urinary tract.

Urinary tract infections are the most common cause of frequent or urgent urination. Other causes include: drinking too much liquid, drinking caffeinated or alcoholic beverages, diabetes, pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, when there is pressure on the bladder medications, vaginal infections or prostate enlargement.

It’s possible that frequent or urgent urination could be normal for you if you don’t have other symptoms.

The treatment plan for frequent or urgent urination is largely dependent on the cause.

Antibiotics can help treat infections. Lifestyle changes such as monitoring liquid consumption and urine output or adjusting medications can help some people.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
