Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Some vitamins are not absorbed in the intestines, in that case usually there will be deficiency of the vitamin B12, or the reason may be the insufficient intake of the B12. If the absorption is the cause of the deficiency injection is the only possible treatment, other wise the oral form can be tried. When the optimum level is attained, the oral form can be tried, and is no response is seen, you can continue with the injection forms. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
