hi my mom and brother both were diagnosed yesterday with scabies...mom has been home treating herself for over a week now with dermasil products...yesterday i took a really hot bath and noticed a little bug floating in the water i pulled it out called my mom/brother over they verified that's the scabies bug...and for the last 3 days my 2 month old baby has small tiny red dots all over his belly and on his side and some on his back almost looks like a diaper rash very similiar....he was born this past aug 4, Mom and brother have been in close contact with him almost every day before knowing they had this...but last week havent really been around them she's been treating her home and body! i called his pediatrician and talked to the nurse she's claiming theres not much they can do for a 2 month old with scabies he's too young!!! is there any advice on what i should do to try and get rid of all of this??? and i have an inside dog a schitzu that i went ahead and dipped to be safe...once dipped she had like 7 mites fall off her ears in tub water with the spectiside ....i imediately took her and put her in my garage in a kennel to keep her confined!!! I've been having her since she was a bbaby she's now 5 i would hate to get rid of her but not wanting her back inside now :(
