Hello welcome to HCM. I have read your question and understand your concerns. You have at present controlled diabetes with this medications and insulin. I will guide you further what things you should remember in future.
.Ask your doctor to start you on a long acting preparation of insulin at night time. It will keep your sugar levels in control and reduce tablets load to you.
.check toyour FBS, PP2BS AND HBA1c report every 3 monthly for adequate sugar control. Also check your Fasting C - peptide levels (it's a marker of body's own insulin levels) to know whether body is still able to make insulin or not.
.longterm diabetes will lead to complications of kidneys, heart and eyes. So check it at least once a year..
.Idealy your blood reports should be. FBS PP2BS HBA1c Thank you.
