Suggest Treatment To Cure Meniere's Ear

i had a bout of meniere's ear (i think this was the name) and what the doctor said was the inner ear has crystals that get jared loose and get into the tubes on out side of a center tube and when you get up or turn your head you get dizzy-he fixed this by having me lay down and turn me in difernt directions and then sat me up. i had to stay in upright postion for 48 hrs-it worked for past 8 yrs with no return of issues-do you have info or have heard of this and/or treatment for this? if so can i get a copy of the procedure to do this? (he gave me a copy if it returned to where i can do this at home. 54 yrs male, 5' 8" 220 lbs thanks

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
You are having benign paroxysmal positional vertigo not meniere disease. The treatment for the same is manouvering your head to certain positions to direct the dislodged particles in the balance canals. This procedure is ideally done by ENT specialist,as the wrong manouvre is one of the most common causes of recurrence/persistence of giddiness. This manouvre you can get in online type 'epleys manouvre'for posterior semicircular canals.
