My doctor has given me 3 pain pills but it has not helped at all what he gave me were acetamenophine/ oxycodone, what can I do to help with the pain. Should I try another Dr. to get some more pai kilers for the net week or so or is there anything else I can do? I am almost bed-ridden at this point. Please help. Kathy.
You need some opioids such as Fentanyl patch, it will be available as 25 to 50 microgram per hour, depending upon your weight you can stick it in your skin so that drug will be constantly delivered, if it is not resolving then you have to go for thoracic epidural analgesia.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
