Suggest Treatment To Reduce Swelling Of Upper Lip After A Stitch?
hi, I had 4 stitches just above my top lip after cutting it when I fell, when I was given the anesthetic my lip swelled up, I am due to have the stitches out tomorrow after having them in for a week and there is still swelling to my top lip, this is reducing daily but how long should this normally take to go back to normal? and is there anything I can use to get rid of the swelling as I have a wedding in 2 days - HELP

I understand your concern, I would suggest you to apply warm fomentation if it is more than a week after the suture removal, and take some anti-inflamatory enzyme preparation which would help you in reducing the swelling.
