Suggest Treatment To Reduce Weight

Dear Dr,

Could you please help with the following question?

I've started taking Sibutramine - Slimex 15mg (no prescription) 1 month ago and before that I took for about 2 months now Lida Lipro Diet Pills. I'm a little overweight but I did manage to lose some of the extra weight. Makaing things short, I developed High Blood Pressure and Tachycardia since the beginning of taking Lida Lipro Diet Pills. Sometimes I do have something like I swear it’s a heart attack, as obvious it is not but it does resemble all symptoms: chest pain, palpitations, left arm pain , lightheaded, dizzy when standing and the list goes on...

I know that you must be thinking I do I keep taking the pills? Answer is: I don’t know. My doctor sent me for an ecg and when I call for results the nurse said that the doctor wanted to see me and he will explain everything... when I went to see my doctor it was someone new and said that everything was fine!!! Puzzled... My question is... being my BP around 150/11 and my PR 125 at rest...could that mean that something could complicate or simply if I stop taking the medicine everything will go normal? I've research quite a lot about the pills and the latest conclusions is that it will only be dangerous for people with cardiac diseases which is not the case... I do want to lose a bit more weight and I will not be able to do it without the pills...

Thanks in advance,

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

I would suggest you to stop taking the medications.

Ideally there is no magic plan to achieve weight reduction , but I can certainly help you out.
Try to maintain a balanced diet with cereals , proteins ,vegetables . Even a little oil and fat is also required. Try to eat around 4-5 fruits a day. Keep away from fried food , soft drinks . Have small meals at regular intervals.Drink loads of water. That's all about the diet.

It would be great if you could add to that a bit of physical exercise and cardio workouts like walking and jogging. Walk for at least 40 minutes a day

Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.
