Hello,

The LCL grade 1 or 2 type strains are not a serious sprains. They generally heal with rest. For this, you should wear a long knee supports for at least 3-4 weeks. Avoid walking for at least 2 weeks. After that a supervised exercises under a physiotherapist will be helpful in complete recovery. This may take about 2-3 months in complete recovery.
