Sweaty Scrotum, Smell In Between Buttocks, Foul Smell In Nose, Chills, Sweats During Sleep, Beard Dandruff. Took Antibiotics For Tooth Abcesses. Treatment?
i have sweaty scrotum and ass crack that emits a foul odour, i also a foul odour coming from my nose and i get chills and sweats when i am asleep. i have tried loads of different antifungal creams but they seem to make the smell worse (is this normal?). i also have beard dandruff . i think i have candida but my doctor refuses to accept this and says i am imagining it. i have had various antibiotics for tooth abcess s over the years, could this be the problem? what medication should i take to cure myself from the inside (intestines)?
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Foul smelling discharge from genitalia and perineal region definitely gives rise to suspicion of fungal infection, but there should be other associated symptoms like itching and scaly skin lesions. I suggest you maintain good personal hygiene, keep those areas clean and dry and avoid tight clothes to prevent sweating in those areas. If symptoms still persist, get a stool exam and perianal swab examination to rule out infection. Thanks.
