I have had swollen lymph glands in the past and put this down to infection tetramysyl cleared it up, however I now have swelling behind my right ear, and today have had at least 6 or 7 extremely sharp pains in the right side of my head at the back, I am also struggling to concentrate but have put this down to working long hours without any time off.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

First of all a physical examination will help in identifying the exact cause of that swelling. Investigations like complete blood counts, CRP etc will help to identify the cause of that swelling. If a infection is identified as the cause then antibiotics may be required.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
