Swelling In Feet, Ankles. Diagnosed MS. Taking Tecfidera, Celexa. Swelling Due To Its Side Effect?

I have had swelling of my feet and ankles since Monday. I have MS and thought I had a UTI so I took a 3 day script for Cipro. Leg swelling decreased but I noticed it began again today. I am wondering if this could be a side effect of Tecfidera or Celexa? I started both of these meds approximately 2 months ago. By the way, I was diagnosed with MS in 1992, relapsing remitting type, and have used several of the injection meds over the years.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The swelling that you have in your feet could be due to the pain killer Celexa that you have been taking for the last two months. Do decrease your salt intake and get the renal functions tested.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Praveen-Tayal
