Swelling In Leg With Pain, Turning Purple, Unable To Raise Or Move Leg. What Could Be The Problem?
After sitting for a while today I did not realize my left foot had gone to sleep due to having it crossed. When I stood up , put my weight on it and twisted slightly to the left I felt a pain/pop/tear??? and since think I feel like there is something out of place and even tho I can walk it is painful. Does not urt to put my weight on it (149 lbs) but hurt when I walk and raise my foot up or try to twist it from side to side. I feel like it needs to be stretched ? There is slight swelling in the aread of the pop? and turning slightly purple. Can you help me??
hi..thanks for using health care magic..based on your history,,it seems that you had a tendon or ligament tear/sprain/injury..(the end of the muscle where it attaches to bones)..turning purple?can be due to swelling of blood clot.. .do not put weight on the leg, donot move or twist the leg,do not massage with any balms, put your leg elevated, appy ice at the affected site to relieve pain,,,do not tie anything to the site,,,rush to an orthopedician,,,get it examined (clinically ,x rays) and treated.. get well soon..bye
