Swollen And Tender Vagina, Gum Ball Size Vagina On Lower Left Bottom Of Labia. Problem And Remedy?
i had a lot of sex over the span of four days with my husband who had just gotten back from deployment. the day after he went back my vagina was extremely swollen and tender. Now after a week the tenderness is somewhat got as well as some of the swell, however, now there feels to be a lump inside the lower left bottom of my labia. a gum ball size. what is it, how do i get rid of it.

Sex traumatises the vaginal. If you get so much of it within a short time span, swelling and tenderness are very possible. Regressing after a while is also expected. What makes it concerning now is the lump at the lower left bottom of your vaginal. From your description, i am suspecting it could be a swelling of the bartholin gland called bartholinitis or a bartholin cyst. Its treatment depends on what the exact diagnosis is. In most cases, it resolves with good antibiotic treatment. If it however fails to, then you may be considered for a minor surgery called marsurpialisation.
